Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients during admissions and throughout treatment, developing and implementing individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions, administer medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Guide and oversee delegated activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants
• Educate patients and families and advocate for patient rights
• Respond to behavioral and medical emergencies and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or NLC eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
• 1+ year in assigned specialty areas
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
