Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients during admissions and throughout treatment to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions, administer medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes
• Guide and oversee delegated activities performed by LPNs and nursing assistants
• Educate patients and families while advocating for patient rights and maintaining confidentiality
• Respond to behavioral and medical emergencies and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active NH RN license (or NLC eligibility) with no prior or pending disciplinary actions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 3+ years of nursing experience, including at least 2+ years in inpatient psychiatric nursing
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 75 lbs
• Ability to pass a State of New Hampshire background screening
