Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both
• Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions
• Provide various modalities of talk therapy as part of combined medication and therapy appointments

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Alaska Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• DEA Certification
• 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
• Must live in Alaska
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space for tele-psychiatry

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing
