Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient visits per accepted practice standards
• Obtain patient histories and perform psychiatric evaluations
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and protocols
• Build and manage a panel of patients for whom you are the primary psychopharmacologist
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention, assess, and manage patient follow up care
• Maintain the confidentiality of PHI
• Provide appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care ensuring that records are detailed, complete, and comply with related standards and regulations

Requirements

• Current License as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Unrestricted license to practice in the State of Utah
• One to two years of experience as a licensed PMHNP
• State Controlled Substance License II through V
• Federal DEA Certificate II through V
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical setting
• TMS and Ketamine experience
