PSC Manager

Responsibilities

• Verify test requisitions and resolve discrepancies with orders and documentation
• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic technique and isolation procedures
• Track collected specimens and maintain daily tallies in Natera systems
• Report quality-control results and KPIs to product management leadership biweekly
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and HIPAA/PHI regulations
• Resolve unusual test orders by contacting physicians, pathologists, or reference labs
• Manage phlebotomy equipment, supplies, and patient service center vendors
• Onboard, train, and retrain phlebotomists to support volume growth
• Monitor draw distribution, customer feedback, scheduling, and escalations

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience
• 5+ years high-level customer care experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (or equivalent; state-mandated where required)
• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams preferred
• BS/BA degree preferred
• Previous financial and budgetary experience preferred
