PSC Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy duties including venipunctures and finger sticks
• Act as operations manager for the designated Patient Service Center (PSC)
• Oversee the phlebotomy program and manage scheduling issues
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques
• Track collected specimens and maintain daily tallies in the provided system
• Report KPIs to product management leadership biweekly
• Manage PSC vendors and phlebotomy equipment
• Assist with onboarding, training, and retraining of phlebotomists
• Monitor distribution and claiming of blood draws and manage customer feedback

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must provide state-mandated phlebotomy license with application if applicable
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams
• BS/BA degree
• Phlebotomy Certification
• Previous financial and budgetary experience
• Bilingual language skills
