PSC Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens
• Act as operations manager for the designated patient service center (PSC)
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and follow isolation procedures
• Track collected specimens and maintain daily tallies in the provided system
• Report KPIs to product management leadership on a biweekly basis
• Manage phlebotomy equipment and assist with PSC vendor management
• Oversee phlebotomy program aspects including distribution, customer feedback, and scheduling
• Onboard, train, and retrain phlebotomists as needed to support volume growth

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must provide phlebotomy license if required by state regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams
• BS/BA degree
• Phlebotomy Certification
• Previous financial and budgetary experience
• Bilingual language skills
