PRT Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver the mathematics curriculum to primary students, ensuring academic success through effective lesson planning and assessment
• Plan and deliver quality lessons that cater to different learning styles, including ESL and gifted students
• Establish and maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, teaching resources, and assessment data
• Use media and technology in the classroom to enhance the learning experience
• Monitor and supervise student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and well-being
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school co-curricular activities

Requirements

• Education or teaching degree, or a first degree combined with a teaching qualification/license
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
• Proficiency in using ICT to aid teaching and learning
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
