Provider Field Representative

Responsibilities

• Analyze inquiries using personal subject matter expertise and reference materials
• Resolve healthcare-related issues by interacting directly with requestors or escalating when necessary
• Contribute to a shared knowledge database to ensure response consistency and document complex resolutions
• Monitor customer inquiries within specific functional areas and track the progress of escalated issues
• Assist less experienced staff members in developing appropriate professional responses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of claims processing and provider relations
• Proficiency in public speaking and delivering professional presentations
• Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations
• In-depth understanding of Medicaid policies and procedures
