Prototypiste - Modéliste

Responsibilities

• Create patterns and initial prototypes for new leather goods models based on design briefs, drawings, or paper/microfiber mockups
• Prepare templates and technical sheets for prototype production
• Lead pre-industrial development of models by proposing technical solutions, such as modifications to assembly methods or reinforcements
• Collaborate closely with designers, the development team, and manufacturing workshops in Spain to integrate technical expertise

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within luxury or high-end leather goods houses
• Proficiency in CAD pattern development (knowledge of Mozart/AutoCAD is a plus)
• Fluency in French; basic Spanish or English skills are a plus
• Mastery of workshop machinery, including digital cutters (Atom), splitting machines, skiving machines, and various sewing machines
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate manufacturing challenges
• Proficiency in Adobe, Word, and Excel
