About the role
About the Company
Heart Aerospace develops the ES-30, a regional hybrid-electric airplane with a capacity of 30 passengers, an electric zero-emission range of 200 km and an extended hybrid range of 400 km.
Responsibilities
- Support the assembly of mechanical and electrical components for prototypes and test rigs
- Assist with wiring, soldering, crimping, and integration of electrical systems and harnesses
- Perform basic machining, 3D printing, and fabrication tasks
- Collaborate with engineers to build, test, and iterate on functional prototypes
- Help set up workshop infrastructure including tools, benches, and safety systems
- Maintain an organized workshop environment and manage tool calibration
- Provide feedback on design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA)
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in prototype assembly
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in R&D, aerospace, automotive, or startup environments
- Experience with CAD tools or fabrication techniques like CNC, welding, or additive manufacturing
- Familiarity with test instrumentation, DAQ systems, or low-voltage electronics
