Prototype EDS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and drive data and release Ingest strategy for Schematics and BOMs
• Coordinate with Design teams to improve harness design processes
• Act as a central hub for EDS related knowledge across development teams
• Support end-to-end design and build of next-generation prototype assets
• Perform technical vetting of asset needs aligned with vehicle milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (EE, ME, Automotive, Aerospace, or Robotics)
• 1 year of experience designing low voltage electrical distribution systems for automotive
• Experience reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and system diagrams
• Ability to interpret technical information and create engineering documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with prototype manufacturing techniques
• Experience with basic mechanical design and CAD
