About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage protocol arrangements for senior management and official visitors, including airport and port of entry facilitation
- Act as the primary focal point for liaison with Egyptian government authorities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and customs
- Prepare and manage official correspondence in Arabic to ensure compliance with institutional requirements
- Oversee visa requests, residency permits, and renewals for international staff and their dependents
- Coordinate governmental approvals for the import and export of equipment, biological materials, and seeds
- Support administrative tasks such as vehicle license renewals and coordination with social security and tax authorities
- Maintain accurate archives of all official correspondence, visas, and governmental approvals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in protocol, governmental liaison, or administration, preferably within an international organization or NGO
- Demonstrated familiarity with Egyptian immigration, customs, and governmental procedures
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior government officials
- High level of organization, discretion, and the ability to manage time-sensitive matters
