About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist Federal Protective Service in the protection of Federal facilities, property, employees, and facility guests
- Provide timely, quality, and courteous stakeholder service to internal and external customers
- Complete site forms and documentation accurately for assigned shifts
- Adhere to and communicate company policies
- Patrol facilities to ensure only authorized personnel enter
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- United States Citizenship
- Active Top Secret (SCI) security clearance
- Three years of security officer experience within the past five years OR military service (Reserved, National Guard, or Honorable Discharge) OR completion of State Certified Law Enforcement training OR Criminal Justice degree
- Ability to work overnights and weekends
- Maryland Handgun Security Officer Permit
- Maryland Security Officer permit
- FPS qualification
