Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, fully compliant advice and recommendations on a broad range of protection products
• Arrange and manage pure protection business including life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection
• Build and maintain a strong client base through leads from Mortgage Scout and LRG estate agency partners
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance
• Proactively engage with clients to identify protection needs and educate them on financial protection
• Work closely with dedicated administrators to ensure efficient application processing
• Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and third-party providers to resolve queries
• Maintain accurate client records in accordance with FCA regulations
• Achieve and exceed individual sales, quality, and compliance targets

Requirements

• Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent recognized qualification
• Proven experience as a Protection Adviser
• Experience arranging multi-benefit protection solutions (Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, Family Income Benefit)
• Excellent knowledge of the protection market and FCA regulatory requirements
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Subject to a satisfactory DBS check
