Protection Scientist Engineer, Integrity

Responsibilities

• Scope and implement abuse monitoring requirements for new product launches
• Improve processes to sustain monitoring operations for existing products, including automating subtasks
• Prototype and mature detection, review, and enforcement systems for major harms
• Collaborate with Product, Policy, Ops, and Engineering teams to understand risks and ensure sufficient data and scaled tooling
• Respond to and investigate critical escalations, including those involving sensitive content

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical analysis and detection
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience in trust and safety or working closely with policy and enforcement teams
• Experience with data engineering (building core tables or data pipelines) and machine learning principles
• Experience scaling and automating processes, particularly using language models
