About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement protection activities including civilian population protection, sexual violence prevention, and family links.
  • Contribute to the analysis of security, socio-economic, and political contexts to report changes in the operational situation.
  • Manage individual protection cases, providing guidance and referrals to state entities or other organizations.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and international agencies to ensure victims access appropriate assistance routes.
  • Conduct community workshops and awareness sessions on safe behaviors and prevention of violence.
  • Maintain and update databases, statistical reports, and institutional archives to ensure operational monitoring.
  • Support field missions and lead them when necessary to monitor protection issues in assigned municipalities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Political Science, or related fields).
  • 3 to 5 years of humanitarian experience working with victims of armed conflict or violence at individual and community levels.
  • Proven experience in managing protection projects and activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Colombian victim assistance routes and social programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.
  • Fluency in Spanish and basic proficiency in English.
  • Availability to travel within the assigned area of responsibility.
