About the role

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the conceptualization and definition of policies and objectives for Civilian Protection (PPC) activities.
  • Respond to individual cases received by the office and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation.
  • Maintain and develop contacts with beneficiaries, authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Elaborate trend analysis documents regarding protection issues to recommend actions and lessons learned.
  • Support field teams through coaching, guidance, and joint field visits.
  • Provide technical support regarding legal frameworks, public ministry knowledge, and state referral pathways.
  • Implement structural persuasion plans with relevant interlocutors to address protection issues.

Requirements

  • University degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, etc.) or Law.
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in protection or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience interacting with international agencies, state institutions, or NGOs in a humanitarian context.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong data analysis skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Demonstrated skills in writing, communication, and public speaking.
