About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Protection of Family Links (PFL) activities in the Odesa area of responsibility
- Handle tracing inquiries, collect new requests, and follow up on existing cases for families of missing persons
- Maintain regular contact with families and keep them informed of developments in their cases
- Conduct awareness-raising sessions with families and authorities regarding ICRC PFL procedures
- Organize focus group discussions to assess the mental health, legal, and administrative needs of families
- Map and assess external services available to families and identify necessary internal referrals
- Ensure proper documentation, data management, and analysis of cases to inform humanitarian actions
Requirements
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- University degree in social, political, economic sciences, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in social or political sciences or a similar professional field
- Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Ukrainian
- Strong computer literacy and ability to manage data effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the ICRC or another international humanitarian agency
