Responsibilities

• Develop and document Hall Effect Thruster (HET) test plans and procedures
• Design, develop, and maintain ground support hardware and software for functional, performance, and environmental testing
• Integrate propulsion flight and ground support hardware including electronics
• Operate high-vacuum chambers and support equipment
• Execute test plans and troubleshoot issues during testing campaigns
• Analyze propulsion test data using Excel, MATLAB, or similar tools
• Develop automated testing and data collection tools for production scale

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation
• Proficiency in Linux-based systems
• Programming proficiency in Rust, C++, C, Python, or MATLAB
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with high-vacuum equipment
• Machining skills and experience
