Propulsion Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct rocket engine test campaigns together with propulsion development engineers
• Ensure safe operations by using and developing procedures and processes
• Take care of test preparations, troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance of the test bench
• Assist in designing and building test benches for propulsion testing

Requirements

• Engineering degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar
• Hands-on experience in development or testing of complex systems
• Experience with extreme operating conditions (cryogenic, high pressure, or high temperature)
• Ability to design fluid and mechanical systems from concept to commissioning
• Ability to perform in high-stress environments
• Physical dexterity for working in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and carry 25kg
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fluid systems and piping/tubing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C, or C#
• Knowledge of hazardous systems (cryogenic, flammable, explosive)
