Propulsion Technician

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain fluid systems, including propellants, high pressure, and cryogenic systems
• Work alongside engineers to build, test, and maintain rocket engines and propulsion components
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on low and high pressure fluid and gas systems
• Solve hands-on, application-oriented problems in the field
• Maintain a safety-first mindset to protect team health, vehicles, and facilities
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Experience working safely with high pressure gas systems
• Ability to read and understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Proficiency in tube fitting and bending with common industry systems
• Metal fabrication skills, including benchwork layout and general shop equipment use
• Ability to perform systems assembly from blueprints, manuals, or diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Experience with Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and cryogenic systems handling
• Experience in clean room environments or rocket system testing
