Propulsion Technician

Responsibilities

• Complete final assembly, testing, and maintenance of engines and components at the Test Complex
• Perform acceptance, qualification, and development testing for Rutherford and Curie engines and Electron stages
• Support facility infrastructure work, including maintenance and upgrades
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Engine Test, Stage Test, or Propulsion Assembly workcentres
• Use tools, equipment, and facilities to build and test launch vehicles or components

Requirements

• Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical assembly
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proven experience with mechanical and electrical production or maintenance
• Experience working in clean room environments and oxygen service cleanliness
• Experience working with PPE and safety processes in hazardous environments
• Ability to follow complex processes with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and technical drawings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in team environments
• Computer literacy, including comfort using smartphones and tablets
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and take initiative
