Propulsion Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) activities for spacecraft propulsion systems
• Execute hazardous spacecraft fueling and propellant handling operations
• Support hardware integration, verification, and mission readiness activities
• Troubleshoot propulsion hardware, fluid systems, and test equipment
• Perform leak checks, pressure testing, and fluid system verification
• Maintain accurate build records and hardware configuration documentation
• Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve system designs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (technical certification or associate degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in spacecraft, aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical procedures
• Proficiency with precision mechanical assembly and fluid systems
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with spacecraft propulsion AI&T
• Experience with hazardous propellant handling and spacecraft fueling
• Experience with semi-automated tube welding and fluid system fabrication
• Experience operating CNC equipment for aerospace-grade components
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and aerospace quality standards
