Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize manufacturability and structural integrity
• Contribute to prototype builds and rapid iteration cycles
• Maintain test facility operations, maintenance, and site cleanliness
• Monitor and maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and instrumentation
• Operate manual machine shop equipment including drills, mills, and lathes
• Fabricate with sheet metal using forming, shearing, rolling, and stamping
• Perform material joining via GTAW welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical fastening
• Execute fluid systems plumbing including tube routing, swaging, and flaring
• Perform harness assembly including crimping, soldering, and cable lacing
• Maneuver heavy objects using forklifts and rigging equipment

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication experience in aerospace, automotive, or motorsports
• Demonstrated welding ability with multiple alloys
• Familiarity with pressurized systems and fluid systems hardware
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&ID, and electrical schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of structural principles
• Experience with inspection equipment and precision calibrated tools
• Physical ability to lift 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in restricted spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certifications
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
