About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop simulation models to generate damage factors such as speed, torque, number of actuations, and power for transmissions, electric traction modules, and drivelines
- Create mission profile simulation models based on powerflow for new vehicle architectures
- Define durability requirements for propulsion subsystems to meet reliability goals
- Collaborate with partner teams to optimize propulsion systems regarding performance, fuel consumption, range, drivability, and durability
- Work with project release teams, component suppliers, and virtual engineering teams to ensure driveline requirements and evaluate cost/weight reduction proposals
- Communicate simulation results through oral presentations and technical reports to Chief Engineers and management
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape
- Experience with AMESIM
