About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build the factory infrastructure used to manufacture satellites
- Deliver a physical propulsion subsystem, ranging from the tank to the thruster, ready for space operations
- Engage in hands-on design, development, and testing of hardware
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Creo, NX)
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on technical development
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required due to export regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or testing liquid propulsion systems
- Experience writing work instructions or test procedures
- Experience using MES/ERP software
- Hands-on experience with welding, machining, or designing machined components
