About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a mentor and multidisciplinary propulsion team to design and build satellite systems
- Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world propulsion challenges
- Participate in frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate technical and professional growth
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with other employees and interns
Requirements
- Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
- At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or personal projects)
- Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026
Preferred Qualifications
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- 6+ months of applied engineering experience
- Hands-on testing experience
- Experience with heat transfer, fluids, or high-pressure systems
- Experience with integration or liquid rocket engines
- GSE experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench
