Propulsion Intern

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and multidisciplinary propulsion team to design and build satellite systems
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world propulsion challenges
• Participate in frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate technical and professional growth
• Engage in tech talks and networking events with other employees and interns

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
• At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or personal projects)
• Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience
• Hands-on testing experience
• Experience with heat transfer, fluids, or high-pressure systems
• Experience with integration or liquid rocket engines
• GSE experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench
