Propulsion Control System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, elaborate, and validate electrical Functional Diagrams (FDs) and Wiring Diagrams (WD) for various aircraft programs
• Apply electrical design principles, logical wiring concepts, and system architecture knowledge
• Manage connector and pin specifications, electrical load analysis, and distribution systems
• Analyze design changes and modifications to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Attend technical meetings with external partners, system designers, and suppliers
• Collaborate with System Designers, Reviewers, and Program Electrical Diagram Managers across multiple programs

Requirements

• B Tech, M Tech, or MS in Power Systems, Power Electronics, Aerospace, Electrical, or Propulsion
• Basic aerospace domain knowledge
• Proficiency in SEE Electrical Expert (SEE-XP) or CAPITAL tools
• Knowledge of DOORS for managing system wiring requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB Simulink modelling
• Understanding of ESDCR (Electrical Schematic Diagrams Common Repository) tools
