Proposals and Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end RFP process, from analyzing documentation to coordinating Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and delivering final proposals.
• Develop, prepare, and modify strategic budgets and proposals based on SME feedback and client specifications.
• Create and finalize contracts and project budgets in accordance with departmental SOPs and guidance.
• Develop contract strategies and plans to ensure timely delivery and client signature.
• Lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs and terms.
• Identify and escalate contractual issues requiring input from finance, tax, or other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data and files in internal systems for metrics and KPI tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of proposal and contract management principles, including pricing structures and contractual terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Fluent in written and oral English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project support, finance, or contracting within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
• Previous experience specifically in proposal development.
• Experience working within multinational and multicultural companies.
• MBA degree.
