WindBorne Systems is supercharging weather forecasts with a unique proprietary data source: a global constellation of next-generation smart weather balloons targeting the most critical atmospheric data. The founding team of Stanford engineers is backed by top-tier investors, including Khosla Ventures and Footwork VC.
Responsibilities
- Compose bespoke narratives for federal, international, and commercial proposals
- Own proposal timelines, track milestones, and manage cross-functional contributors
- Partner with engineering, product, and growth teams to extract technical content
- Investigate agencies, solicitations, competitors, and regulatory landscapes
- Perform proofreading, content checks, and formatting compliance
- Build and maintain a reusable content library of past performance and technical descriptions
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional writing experience with a strong portfolio
- Experience in project management or coordination
- Ability to adapt writing style for federal, international, and commercial audiences
- Skill in navigating feedback from technical reviewers
- Strong collaborative skills and insatiable curiosity
- Comfort using AI writing tools for drafting and research
