Proposal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage full proposal lifecycles for infrastructure pursuits and lead key sections for large-scale opportunities valued at $1B+.
• Analyze procurement documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) to develop compliance matrices, schedules, and response outlines.
• Partner with pursuit teams to manage execution plans, facilitate kick-off meetings, and lead milestone color reviews.
• Coordinate content development across multiple contributors to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
• Serve as lead writer for technical and non-technical sections, including project descriptions and qualification summaries.
• Collaborate with creative teams to integrate compelling graphics and conceptualize visual solutions.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to support content development, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Support the continuous improvement of proposal templates, best practices, and style guides.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proposal coordination or writing experience, preferably in engineering, construction, or a similar industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Strong technical and non-technical writing skills with the ability to produce concise, compelling content.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
