Proposal Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submittal of persuasive, compliant proposals
• Write, edit, and proofread technical volumes and manage writing assignments
• Direct proposal phases including kickoff meetings, color team reviews, and production
• Manage the development process by analyzing RFP requirements and creating compliance matrices
• Develop technical, management, and past performance volumes
• Guide the formulation of win strategies, themes, and discriminator development
• Review graphics and written materials to enhance proposal messaging

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Communications, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in proposal writing and management
• Expertise in Adobe and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Acrobat)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to conceptualize and create enhancing graphics

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal contracting guidelines (DOE and DOD)
• Experience with proposals valued at over $50M
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Shipley Training or APMP certification
