Proposal Leader

Responsibilities

• Develop final and budgetary proposals for company products and services
• Lead the coordination of technical and commercial information to meet customer needs
• Collaborate with functional departments to ensure proposal compliance with technical requirements
• Oversee solicitations and evaluate quotations from major subcontractors
• Manage the proposal risk register and ensure proper dispositioning of entries
• Prepare pricing with input from estimating, supply chain, and other departments
• Lead contract negotiations in partnership with the commercial manager
• Address customer feedback, questions, and requests for preliminary pricing or technical information
• Conduct customer presentations and participate in on-site meetings and trade shows
• Support the project management team and improve proposal development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
• 5 years of experience in technical proposal preparation, technical sales, or complex project management
• Proven experience in managing proposal software
• Strong ability to collaborate across multiple departments and work effectively in teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage complex data
