Proposal Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct the development of high-value strategic bids for passenger rail transport projects across North America.
• Act as a project lead by coordinating commercial, technical, and creative contributors.
• Lead kickoff meetings and facilitate team reviews (Rose, Red, Gold) to ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and maintain detailed proposal calendars, tracking key milestones and deliverables.
• Facilitate win-theme workshops to define Alstom's value proposition and competitive differentiators.
• Refine proposal content, including writing compelling introductions and integrating targeted win themes.
• Proactively resolve obstacles and adapt to changing priorities or tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing large and complex proposals, ideally in transport, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and resource coordination.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools like SharePoint and Teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing proposals specifically for the North American market.
• Knowledge of North American proposal standards and best practices.
• Background in business development within consulting or transport engineering firms.
• Experience in journalism or technical writing.
• Bilingualism in French and English.
