Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage Automatic Equipment and Automation opportunities from lead to installation
• Provide support with proposals, pricing, and equipment layouts including drawings and electrical schematics
• Conduct equipment surveys to detail requirements for customers and production
• Coordinate with Engineering, Development, and Supply Chain to address non-standard items
• Provide automation expertise and coordinate with segment experts for optimal equipment solutions
• Facilitate customer meetings, kickoffs, and pre-installation documentation
• Document installation and performance issues to improve future projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5 years of experience in equipment manufacturing engineering and automation
• Experience in engineering proposals and project management
• Proficiency in 2-D layouts, 3-D modeling, and simulations/animations
• Strong understanding of electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience with CRM and CAD systems (AutoDesk Inventor or SolidWorks preferred)
