Proposal Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end proposal process from RFP release through final submission
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, milestones, compliance matrices, and production plans
• Lead proposal kickoff meetings, status reviews, and submission readiness activities
• Coordinate inputs from technical, management, pricing, contracts, and executive stakeholders
• Ensure proposal compliance with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria
• Collaborate with capture managers and leadership to align proposal strategies and win themes
• Oversee proposal production, including editing, formatting, and graphics integration
• Manage proposal resources and workload prioritization across multiple concurrent pursuits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Aerospace, Business, Communications, or English
• 8+ years of experience managing federal government proposal efforts
• Experience leading large-scale proposals valued between $50 million and $500 million or greater
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and competitive procurement
• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Civil Space customers
• Exceptional project management and organization skills
• Strong written and executive-level communication abilities
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, SSC, SDA, AFRL, NASA, or NRO
• Familiarity with spacecraft development, launch systems, or satellite operations
• APMP Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional Certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools
