Proposal Developer I

Responsibilities

• Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify required inputs for text and budget development
• Support the preparation of proposal text, budgets, rebids, and related documentation
• Collaborate with the proposal development team to finalize assigned proposals
• Assist in revising preliminary agreements, scopes of work, and associated budgets
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Participate in strategy calls to understand customer needs and clarify requirements
• Maintain proposal-related information in corporate databases and tracking tools
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the wider proposal development team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in proposal development, contracts, budgeting, or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to read and interpret RFPs, study protocols, and client requirements
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the CRO industry or clinical research environment
• Understanding of costing or budgeting models
