Proposal Content Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine proposal win themes, discriminators, and strategic messaging
• Lead proposal content strategy and narrative development activities across strategic pursuits
• Create proposal outlines, storyboards, and content plans aligned with customer requirements
• Conduct interviews with engineers, program managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information
• Transform complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive, and customer-focused proposal content
• Develop executive summaries, management approaches, and technical narratives
• Ensure proposal content is compliant and aligned with customer priorities
• Collaborate with capture managers and business development leaders to align messaging
• Support proposal reviews and incorporate feedback from color teams
• Coach and mentor proposal writers and contributors
• Maintain proposal content libraries, messaging frameworks, and templates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience developing winning federal proposal content
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into persuasive messaging
• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Civil Space pursuits
• Strong interviewing, writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident per ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pursuits with U.S. Space Force, SSC, SDA, AFRL, NASA, NRO, or OSD
• Familiarity with spacecraft development, satellite operations, or launch systems
• APMP Certification (Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional)
• Experience supporting proposals valued at $50M to $500M+
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes
