Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for the property management business
• Implement property management policies and programs to ensure alignment with strategy
• Provide direction and leadership to the engineering staff
• Track budget variances and facilitate the recovery process
• Oversee the billing process, including invoice payments and fund disbursements
• Monitor cash flow and requirements in collaboration with the Property Manager
• Supervise the preparation of reports, annual budgets, and owner documentation
• Maintain effective communication with third-party owners regarding contract compliance and reporting
• Address tenant relations issues promptly
• Conduct regular property inspections with staff
• Oversee construction projects and approve contracts and invoices in partnership with the Construction Manager
• Ensure compliance with policies, codes, regulations, and governmental directives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in real estate property management or a related field
• Possession of a real estate license
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
• Proven experience in managing, evaluating, and motivating subordinates
• Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial lease and contract language
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and financial acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
• CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
