Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings and assets are well maintained and compliant through cyclical and reactive maintenance
• Supervise two on-site maintenance personnel and manage a network of local contractors
• Perform hands-on maintenance work ('on the tools') when required
• Manage Health & Safety and regulatory compliance, including Building Warrant of Fitness
• Undertake small-scale refurbishment projects
• Oversee day-to-day planned and unplanned maintenance work on time and within budget
• Manage administrative aspects of the role using maintenance systems

Requirements

• Over two years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in general maintenance of built environments, machinery, and equipment
• Knowledge of building services including electrical, fire, lifts, HVAC, and refrigeration systems
• Experience managing direct reports and subcontractors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and property systems
• Ability to manage finances and make data-driven business decisions
• Full clean NZ Driver’s License and Site Safe passport
