About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Bethel College properties, including campus buildings, farm properties, and research plots
- Oversee day-to-day rentals, including short-term and long-term agreements such as AirBnB
- Inspect facilities daily and schedule routine maintenance, urgent repairs, and preventative upkeep
- Coordinate external campus rentals for weddings, conferences, camps, and community events
- Conduct venue tours for prospective clients and manage venue website details
- Supervise student employees, including tracking hours, conducting evaluations, and providing guidance
- Manage volunteers for property renovations, landscaping, and development projects
- Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to ensure successful event setup
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven business experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the college professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management and employee supervision
- Previous experience supervising professional staff and students
- Established ties to the local community or knowledge of local heritage
