Property Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Maintain landscaping, including snow and ice removal
• Install equipment and appliances
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
• Plan and schedule repairs
• Supervise contractors or vendors and obtain project bids
• Manage inventory supplies and maintain maintenance logs
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with building codes
• Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrical experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and lift 50lbs
• Ability to work outdoors and on rooftops in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
