Property Contract Closeout Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to Contract Closeout, ensuring the removal of all property from completed contracts
• Manage and maintain aspects of the Property Management System, including support for audits, inventory, disposition, and records management
• Provide expert guidance to Program Management and support teams on the effective use of tools and systems to manage property closeout actions
• Oversee the contract transfer process, manage submissions to Contracts, and ensure receipt postings are completed to maintain a compliant property system
• Deliver training and awareness materials tailored to program leadership, engineering teams, and other functional organizations
• Collaborate with Property and Logistics management, Program management, and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
• Support compliance with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with three years of experience)
• Experience in Government Property, Logistics, Contracts, Program Management, or Supply Chain
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM) and Property systems such as SPS or PCIR
• Experience using Government reporting systems including WAWF and PIEE
• Experience as a GFP Contractor Property Manager
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
