Property & Casualty Commercial Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Retain current clients and manage client service work products to ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Analyze client contracts and negotiate with underwriters for breadth of coverage and competitive pricing.
• Oversee the preparation of certificates and negotiate additional coverages as requested by clients.
• Review expiring policies with the Account Management Team and obtain updated renewal information.
• Prepare accurate proposals, place coverage, oversee invoicing, and document all actions for the client.
• Develop and maintain professional business relationships built on integrity, trust, and honesty.
• Act as a mentor to other client service staff and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of insurance or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy and demonstrated technical ability.
• Strong math aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards an industry-approved designation.
