Property and Facilities Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistical details for facilities support, including equipment setup and takedown for events and group stays
• Identify, report, and track facility repair and maintenance needs through work orders
• Conduct routine building inspections and schedule ongoing maintenance to ensure high-quality residence experiences
• Liaise with clients and residents to resolve minor complaints and address facility issues
• Coordinate and communicate facility work to minimize disruptions to daily operations
• Analyze service delivery and internal processes to recommend operational improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in facilities management within a post-secondary, residential, or similar institutional environment
• Experience supervising unionized staff and coordinating staff schedules
• Proven experience with Health and Safety, Fire Prevention, Emergency Planning, and Emergency Response
• Experience maintaining facilities operational records, including work orders, schedules, and inventory tracking
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using StarRez software
