Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site property inspections at customers' homes to investigate coverage and assess damages.
• Prepare detailed estimates and settle claims promptly using software like Xactimate.
• Handle virtual claims countrywide using video collaboration platforms.
• Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all claim activities in the company system.
• Provide empathetic and clear communication to policyholders throughout the claims process.

Requirements

• 2 years of previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch.
• Must reside within the posted location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically focused on water loss claims.
• Existing active adjuster or appraiser licenses (eligible for a sign-on bonus).
