Property Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• Collect data and documents from various sources and upload them into client databases
• Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other functional area tasks
• Support accounting managers with various projects and administrative duties
• Analyze data and assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and other general office administrative tasks

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree/diploma or a recent graduate
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
• Interest in the commercial real estate industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a real estate environment
• Experience working within a professional services environment
• Experience using Yardi Voyageur or PayScan
