Property Accountant

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations and cash reporting
• Update financial data in databases for accuracy and availability
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Manage annual CAM-Tax-Insurance escalations and tenant packages
• Provide vendor backup for monthly sales usage
• Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
• Complete quarterly property snapshots and financial statements
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports including aging reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a junior accountant
• BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• High attention to detail and analytical acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Yardi software
