Property Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledgers for assigned properties including journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and variance analyses
• Review annual expense reconciliation schedules and tenant billings
• Coordinate with external auditors to prepare financial statements and support audit requests
• Manage annual property budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare monthly cash forecasts and assist with ad hoc requests

Requirements

• 2+ years of public accounting or commercial real estate accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP specifically related to real estate
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with MRI, Yardi, Skyline, JD Edwards, or CTI systems desired
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
